Jody Valdes

Born and raised in Tampa, Jody graduated from Jesuit High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 1998 and his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2001. He defends matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, trucking and automobile accident liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Jody is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida and all state and federal Courts within the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Jody is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. Jody has also been named a Florida Super Lawyer by Florida Super Lawyers magazine in the area of personal injury and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Personal Injury litigation. He is AV® Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Jody served on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and was past Chairman. He currently serves as a Florida Bar Fee Arbitrator.
