Travis Godwin received his
undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida, his master's degree from the University of Florida,
and his law degree from the University of Miami. His diverse practice includes representing individuals and entities
in various areas of health care law, including compliance with federal and state regulations, employment issues,
trademark infringement, civil defense, and business transactions; advising institutional review boards regarding
oversight of studies involving human subjects; counseling large land owners regarding property tax appeals and agriculture
classifications, and representing community association managers and other professionals before regulatory and licensing boards.
Mr. Godwin is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Middle and
Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the
American Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, and
Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Godwin is active in the Tampa Bay community, serving on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tampa, and First Tee of Tampa Bay.
