Chris Schulte Sworn in as FLABOTA President
Chris Schulte was sworn in as the 2026 – 2027 President of the Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA) at FLABOTA’s 28th Annual Convention held in Orlando in July. The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) was founded in 1958 and is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the right to a civil jury trial provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA has existed for 68 years, and its mission is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy so that litigants may receive more effective representation, and to benefit the general public by promoting a more efficient administration of justice. FLABOTA was formed in 1992 as one of four regional chapters chartered by ABOTA’s National Board. Membership is by invitation only, and its membership is comprised of an equal number of plaintiff and defense trial lawyers who, in addition to exhibiting outstanding trial skills, also demonstrate the highest of standards in integrity, honor, courtesy, and professionalism.
