Phil is a civil trial lawyer who brings decades of litigation experience to the firm. Phil’s practice includes matters related to general civil litigation, railroad law, personal injury, nursing home litigation, wills and trusts, and insurance defense. In private practice for more than 15 years, Phil has also served as in-house counsel for Allstate Insurance Company and CNA Insurance Company, handling personal injury, wrongful death, dental malpractice, and property damage claims.

Phil grew up in Warren, Ohio, and attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He then attended the University of Dayton School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor degree. Phil served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and acted as staff counsel with the Office of Personnel Management in Washington, D.C., before relocating to Florida.

Phil is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, as well as the United States Southern and Middle District Courts of Florida. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
