Born in Washington D.C., Debbie moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, as a young child and attended local schools. She is a graduate of Stetson University and Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school, she served as a member of the Stetson Law Review. Debbie was admitted to practice in Florida in 1983, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. She is AV® Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Debbie has served as a board member and officer of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers (1989-1993) and is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Debbie concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation defense. She is certified as a Medicare Set-Aside consultant. She advises clients on issues regarding the Medicare Secondary Payor Act and compliance with Medicare regulation as applied to both liability and workers’ compensation litigation.
