Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in 2024, with a concentration in Healthcare Law. As part of this focus, she completed advanced coursework in medical malpractice, bioethics, and healthcare compliance. During law school, Kayla received the Public Interest Fellowship Award in recognition of her pro bono legal service. She was also an active member of the PULSE! Student Health Society.

Before attending law school, Kayla graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration. While at UCF, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and served as the chapter’s Financial Officer during her senior year.

Kayla gained valuable legal experience as a Clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Levenson of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Civil Division. She also completed a summer internship with Kemper Insurance in Miami.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Kayla is a graduate of Gaither High School. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and licensed to practice in all Florida state courts. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs—a golden retriever and a bulldog.
