Jamison Joyce
Associate
Jamison was born and raised in Tampa, where he attended the Academy of the Holy Names and Berkeley Preparatory School. The son of two trial lawyers, he was immersed in the legal profession from an early age, developing a deep appreciation for courtroom advocacy and the art of trial practice.
Jamison graduated cum laude from Florida State University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Following law school, he began his career representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases, gaining extensive trial experience in automobile negligence and premises liability matters.
He spent the first six years of his career at a prominent Tampa-based plaintiff’s firm specializing in jury trials, where he was mentored by a board-certified trial attorney and served as both lead and second-chair counsel in numerous trials throughout Florida. Jamison later joined the nation’s largest plaintiff’s personal injury firm, handling a wide variety of cases in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
At Weekley Schulte Valdes, Jamison leverages his plaintiff-side background and trial experience to represent insurers, corporations, small businesses, and insured individuals in complex civil litigation. His insight into plaintiff strategies allows him to craft effective, results-oriented defense approaches that serve the firm’s clients efficiently and strategically.
Jamison is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
